Engineering Methodologies
Egret Technologies recognizes that to every client on every program, timely delivery, high quality and reasonable
cost are fundamental goals. Through Engineering Excellence by Design™, we adhere to these maxims in our work.
Our use of best-in-class engineering design processes with frequent and relevant client involvement and reviews ensures
that the program and the product remain on-track to achieve these goals. All programs follow a phased process:

Phase 1: Project Proposal

At each transition from the current phase to the next, the client and Egret Technologies must jointly approve the
progression. With certain programs, a particular phase may not be required and a progression approval can be obtained
through mutual consent. For more complex programs a phase may last several months and involve multiple staff and
multiple activities. In such a program, a progression to the next phase may involve face-to-face meetings with
document and design reviews and approvals.
Whatever the complexity of the program, Egret Technologies guarantees Engineering Excellence by Design™
through following our phase review process.
Upon completion of a program a release to client phase takes place where all design documentation is transitioned
to the client. Such documentation may include software source code, electrical schematics, manufacturing data,
bills-of-materials, etc. We recognize that for a client to produce and sustain a product all engineering data
needs to be made available. Our engineers are sensitive to the client's planned product manufacturing processes
during product design, component selection, fabrication, assembly and testing to simplify the transition from
prototype to product.
Egret Technologies recognizes that every engagement is different. We execute a wide range of projects, from developing
complete plug-in blades for complex systems to cost reduction of existing products. We can work either as an autonomous
project team, or as a supplemental set of resources to complement an in-house engineering team. Early-stage
