Product Requirements and Specifications
Egret Technologies' can define product marketing requirements and engineering specifications. With our clients'
input and our own market knowledge, we can contribute to a complete and accurate set of definitions in advance
of product implementation. This includes target bill of material (BOM) costs, product launch date, compliance
and regulatory requirements, Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) requirements.
System and Network Architecture
Egret Technologies works closely with our clients to develop efficient system and network architectures. Our
experienced staff has knowledge from previous product developments to contribute to optimum product architectures.
Consulting: Feasibility, Due Diligence and Design Review
Egret Technologies' expert staff can offer an additional set of eyes for reviewing design performed by a
client's internal engineering team or by another design services organization. In the event an Egret client plans
to acquire the assets or intellectual property of a third party we can assess, through due diligence, the value
and integrity of all or any engineering deliverables.
Electronic Circuit Design
One of Egret Technologies' core competencies is electronic circuit design. We perform circuit design, component
selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, BOM release and Manufacturer Interfacing. Egret Technologies has
considerable expertise in optics,
analog and power design, microprocessor systems, RF circuits, FPGA design, verification testing, compliance,
RFI/EMI evaluation and environmental validation.
Mechanical Engineering
Egret Technologies offers mechanical design services including 3D Solid CAD modeling, design for manufacturability
and assembly, structural and thermal analysis, manufacturing sourcing and management and rapid prototyping. We
have considerable experience in outside plant (OSP) product development.
Embedded Software
Egret Technologies' firmware developers use our comprehensive hardware knowledge to design embedded software.
We develop optimized real-time software: applications, device drivers and board support packages (BSP),
diagnostic code, Windows Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) and drivers.
Manufacturing Test Fixture Development
Egret Technologies also offers expertise in manufacturing test fixture development. Working with the client's
contract manufacturer and test equipment vendors, we optimize a test solution that yields low cost of test and
minimal test escape quantities.
